Ideal training protocol when cutting?
Assuming diet and cardio are in order as per the cutting sticky over in the diet forum, what seems to be the consensus on weight training?
My initial thoughts are to lower the volume and frequency but maintain reasonably high loads, say in the 5-7 rep range, and use mostly compound movements to maintain muscle. That said, if PWO nutrition is adequate it shouldn't be impossible to add lean mass, therefore should you be doing some medium-higher rep stuff as well?
Interested to hear thoughts/opinions and other members cutting workouts.
Cheers.

personally, i dont change the routine at all from bulk to cut. I only change when i want to, more for shocking my system with somethin new. I believe high rep volumes arent effective long term, just short term for giving your body a different response.
