3/2 tempo with triceps
Anyone ever tried this? Today I did it on pushdowns and overhead extensions and all I could do on my last set of extensions I could only do 55lb dumbells and I felt pathetic. Any thoughts? I am trying to build more overall arm mass, like anyone else.

I use this technique with many lifts and you can't lift nearly as much as you normally could. You are placing stress on the muscle for an longer period of time, this is basically the Time Under Tension method, I find it very effective.

I like to do the 3/2 tempo with my biceps and I have never felt my arms feel as big as they do. I haven't started trying this with my tris yet, but plan to soon. Let us know how it goes for you
