When doing one arm dumbell rows, do you guys pull the dumbell to the hip and than up or do you just pull the dumbell straight up?
Are these good for getting a thick back?

keep ur back straight...and keep ur elbow close to your body...i look foward to ensure im keeping proper form..i keep the db a little behind my shoulder
Straight up - one fluid motion. Will help your back if used with other compound lifts.
i think you can use both, straight up to get the thicker upper back, or to ur belly to develop that lower bulge
