deadlifts
do you guys start deads from the floor or a rack about waist?

Otherwise, you call them rack pulls...

i dont go heavy on deads anymore, no single or doubles.....but anyway, i pull from the floor, i pull from the rack..but waist high seems too high...go at least below your knees.....but if you want to get a really good stretch... do deads fron a box...i stand on a box about 4 to 6 inches high and pull the barbell off the floor from there.........good luck bro

Make sure to maintain neutral spinal alignment. Don't let your hips rise faster than your shoulders.

thanks bros, did them from the floor last workout and could feel them alot better. i may drop the weight just a tad tho to get ajusted. did 405 for 3 but i prolly put a lil strain on my lower back so definetly gonna go a lil lighter just to get use to it
