    Workout Advice Please

Over the past year year and a half or so I have been following the same workout routine. I know your supposed to change your workout to help mix up how your muscles are trained and I was wondering what everyone thinks of my workouts, I try to focus on one bodypart a day.

    As is:

    Day1 - Chest
    Day2 - Calves, Quads
    Day3 - Back
    Day4 - Shoulders, Traps
    Day5 - Calves, Hamstrings
    Day6 - Arms
    Day7 - Rest

What do you guys think...I spend about an hour a day working out and then 30-45 mins of cardio 3x+ a week. All advice is accepted.

I usually do about 4 exercises or more each day depending on how many bodyparts are worked. Usually doing 3 sets of each exercise.

6 days staright of training ? IMO too much man.
i dont EVEN recomend anyone trains more than 2 days in a row noT to mention 6 days...
on top of that you do 30-45 minutes of cardio after training which i assume you are not sipping on your post training meal/protein shake, which is 30-45 minutes you are delaying to replenish your glycogen storages which are depleted after resistance training

yea i drink a protein shake post workout before i do cardio...I think I will begin running in the morning since I workout at night. But is this a good training split or should I change it around.

But i'm assuming he's cutting. That'd explain why he's running in the morning...AND doing pwo cardio.

I'd suggest he drop the shake right after training...and hit some BCAAs or amino...then cardio...followed by his PWO shake.

I have tried changing my workout around but am not sure...I want to lose fat while helping my muscles grow to their full potential. Can anyone suggest a good split that will help my muscles grow best.

My friend said something about a split where each bodypart is at its strongest...anyone heard of something like this? All suggestions appreciated.

I have personaly found that superseting my excercises provides the best of both worlds for me. The aerobic effect is great and might help with trying to keep off the extra pounds while you are bulking. For instance a split that I go back to every month or so looks something like....

    Day 1-chest and back
Day 2-bis and tris and abs
    day 3- legs
    day 4-shoulders
    day 5-abs and calves
