doing cardio
I'm just curious if you guys think cardio is necessary? I haven't done cardio for about a year now because it doesn't make a difference whether I do or not. I can keep off the fat just as well as long as I lift hard. I have a fast metabolism and it doesn't seem to make me any more ripped either unless I'm cutting.
But... I'm kind of concerned that my health might become an issue if I don't. How important is it to do cardio from a health stand point as long as I'm lifting 4-5 days a week all the while eating clean? I honestly hate doing cardio especially since it doesn't change my physical appearance unless I'm cutting. And I always feel like it's counter productive since I'm usually bulking. So how much would 3 days/week of low impact cardio really help my health?Last edited by PrairieDawg; 01-06-2006 at 03:48 AM.

Low Intensity cardio has also shown to decrease VAT which is potentially harmfull. Not to mention numerous other benefits. It should pretty much be standard for everyone.
