    Anyone use pre-exhaustion?

At least I think that's what it's referred to...

What I mean is for instance on chest day instead on starting with flat bench doing a heavy set of flyes before benching to "pre-exhaust" the pecs so that the tris are alot fresher than the pecs when you bench so that it really blasts the pecs.

Dunno yet, starting it next week!

I need to kick start a bit of growth in my chest - I just wish I had "the natural genetics of muscle reaction"

I use it all the time, NotSmall. It works really well for me, especially with chest, and quads.

The leg pre-exhaust is like Swole's, but without the leg curls.

For my pecs, I will do some heavy ass flyes (drop sets at the end), and then jump into my presses.

yeh love this way of training, it gives new growth to any stale routine, love it,but i cant keep the intensity up for more than 4-5 weeks i have to have a maintence week or so then i revert back to pre-exhaust...
