light cardio like flexor said and stretching after your workout help the most for me

Light cardiovascular exercise will help with recovery. Performing a light resistance day will also speed recovery. Chad Waterbury (strength coach) and the Westside Barbell Club use this technique.

A little Active Recovery (cardio/ light resistance) and stretching.

^^^What papi93 and canadiantiger said. Do light exercises to get some blood into the muscle. Have you not trained in a long time? If you are used to training you should not be geting so sore that you have troubles like this.

Protein helps a ton, and if your still sore I have some buddies that add a little more glutamine to their regimen and have said that it helps
