Help with new cutting workout???
hey guys wuts up... i recently let my self go extremely for a while... ive been back in the gym for two weeks now and im starting to get back into the game... im really used to doing bulking exercises but now i want to strictly tone and cut up.. heres my routine
monday-Chest/ Tri's
Tuesday-Back/ Bi's
Wed-Shoulders/trapz
Thursday-legs
Friday-Chest or back- every other week???
i do abs every other weekday
i do cardio also every day for 20 mins
any advice as far as number of sets # of exercises and reps???

well first if you wanna cut you need to do cardio for more then 20 monutes. I know most peoples lives r to busy to workout twice a day, once cardio n once weights, here is what i plan on doing while i cut, i hope it helps.....

I like this workout alot for 2 reasons. One it is a method that i have found to work(high rep/loe rep cycle) and theres no reason to stop making gains while you cut
the second reason is the one you would be more intrested in. It works one muscle a day, so it provides you the opprotunity to get in the gym, work your 1 muscle, then do 30-40 minutes of cardio n be out of the gym in a reasonable time, obviously the more cardio the better, id say 30 is alittle below optimal, and an hour would be the BEST POSSIBLY CASE! so really try n get as much as you can inLast edited by Machdiesel; 01-18-2006 at 04:49 PM.
