puking while squating?
how do you avoid doing the upchuck shuffle while squatting .
Is it because of heavy weights? Bad techique?
I'm pushing up to heavy squats next month going to try and go up in weight or max out. Right now I'm working on technique, but besides worrying about gettin hurt. I'm concerned about this puking thing. If I puke does that mean I have pushed myself to the edge?
give me your opinions and personal experience in this area.

its due to the massive blood rush to the legs if you get to that point you are pushing yourself pretty hard but its not neccesarily a bad thing im pretty sure the puking is due to being light headed

honestly, I've never had a problem with feeling like I'm going to puke during squats
leg presses and bent over rows do it for me. not sure why.
and I even was doing 20-rep squats, but no puke-age.

t-bar rows and leg presses make me feel like puking, but squats and deads leave me light-headed and dizzy after a high intensity set

I cant count the # of times I have lost my gut training ussually on leg day.Try not to eat anything to heavy on the gut 2 hours before training not full proof but it helps.

I played baseball in college for a couple years before i tore my rotator cuff, but every day we'd do legs i'd end up throwing up during squats and leg press. It was ridiculous, but because of me my coach used to say "if you're not puking you're not working." so its no necessarily a bad thing. It is a pain in the a$$ though. keep pushing yourself!
