Put the tape measure around your bicep at its highest peak when flexed...

You can do either..most guys here I would assume measure cold and flexed. Most will state unflexed if it is unflexed

i do both, it's nice to know if your peak is getting bigger or if it's just mass altogether. i like to make my peaks, peakier???

IMO, peaks are related to mostly genetics of the muscle structure of your biceps.
Also, my arms measure almost identical, whether they are cold or pumped.Last edited by mtrsprt; 03-10-2006 at 01:26 PM.

i agree and disagree, with some specific exercises you can alter your peaks and make them peakier... but i do believe there is a point to which genetics sticks their stupid heads in a ruin things, yes...

Mine are very different cold and pumped...cold 18.5" pumped 19.5"+ depending on how pumped they are and how long after the workout I measure. I measure cold and flexed. Also, if someone asked me how big they were I would always quote the cold measurement...just in case they break out a tape measure and put it to the test after leg day!!!
