    dips!!

    when do you recommend to do dips when training chest? also i need help as at my gym they only have the straight bars for dips which is for tris they havent got the outer bars for chest!!! is there another technique i can use for straight bars like pushing my elbows outwards

    in order to make the dip work for your chest let your shoulders roll forward and bend and raise your knees a bit. your back should be curved like your doing crunches.

    to work chest, point your elbows out, bend your legs at the knee and lean forward

    i do chest dips after incline and flat bench

    Same here, that's how I do em. Weighted dips do wonders for the chest.

    100lb plate and dips it dont get much better

    What is the diff between a tricep dip bar and chest dip bar? Do you use the paralell bars for tris and the straight bar for chest, or visa versa?

    I just use a 100lb DB for dips, my gym doesnt have 100lb plates either

    i don't see too many of these / \ at the gym.. today i saw plenty of ( | ) everywhere i turned, i didnt get much accomplished

    well maybe youd get more / \ (legs spread) If you got more accomplished in the gym

    Yeah they dont have \ / at any of the gyms (4) I go to. I dont really get what the difference is. Seems like both l l and \ / would work chest to me.
    When you use \ / do you face the small end or larg end of the V?

    you go to 4 gyms?? geezuz why?

    the / \ bar kicks your elbows out more, hitting your chest

    many assisted dip chairs will have bars that you can move out or in...i prefer to just point my elbows out on the regular dip chair

    you face the small end
