Machine vs DB rear delt flyes

which is better? i hate machines but i feel it may be more effective in isolating the rear delts than dumbells. Any opinions?

Currently i have been using dumbells

Also, is it acceptable to bend your elbows slightly when performing these? or should the arm remain straight through the ROM

a slight bend would be ok by me. as long as whatever that bend is, stays the same bend the entire rep. so don't be moving the elbow during the exercise.

i personally like the machine for rear delts. its seems like it burns more and more tension. Although i like db/barbells for everything else

best bet is to vary doing both. cable work requires less recruitment of stabilization muscle fibers, but gives continuous tension throughout the movement. dubmells on the other hand recruit more stabilization muscle fibers, but give little resistance on the beginning part of the movement. both exercises hit them in vastly different ways, and if you want the best overall development of the muscles, you know what you gotta do.
