    i heard it pop then i said oooo s**t

    ok i was squating yesterday and i was doing 315lbs 4x10 and on my last set and last rep, i felt something pop in my upper abs, like right underneath my pec and then the sharp pain came, i continued my workout the pain calm down but when i woke up this morning the area was swollen and i dunno wtf happened let me know if you guys know what it is or what i should do cus when i sit still it doesnt hurt but twisting and moving is shooting pain thanks guys

    Sounds like a hiatal hernia. Your stomach most likely popped outta place. Trust me see a doctor.

    yea i doubt its a hernia never had any problem with my abs before it feels like its on the rib tho is it possible to get a hernia on ur rib cage
    i dont know

    It would be a hiatal hernia. Its different than a regular hernia. With a hiatal hernia your stomach pulls up and pops outta place (up under your ribs is most likely where it would go). Whereas with a regular hernia your intestine would pop throgh the abdominal muscle layer.

    oic well ill give it a few days to see if it heals, then ill go see a doc, plus i lifted today and it was ok i just rapped my ribs with some prerap and tape and i was fine, we will see

    They scare me too....never thought about them until my training partner got one and he has not been in the gym in 4 months and couting. He has lost about 30 pounds and I cannot imagine how deprssed he is. Once you get one, you will never be able to lift hard again...sucks
