bench press can be rough...I would say lay off bench and direct shoulder work and see how that treats you...

You could also work on tri's and like Newkid said, direct shoulder work, and do heavy rows (working back on the same plane as bench helps too). that will aid you in your bench when you decide to get back to it...that is if you take the time off...

First off, flat barbell presses, in my opinion, are the worst exercise that you can do as far as shoulder joints are concerned. I have bad shoulders and I completely stay away from flat barbell presses. I focus more on incline bench presses...that helped my shoulder out....maybe it will help yours out.

i know this si what works for you, but for the sake of discussion i have to say that when i do incline my shoulder sometimes feels like it grinds a little, haha, but we both know everyone is different... so i think this just further proves that to address your own personal problems you have to find your own personal solution...

i had the same issue, i went to dumbells and it was fine, then i strengthen up my shoulder by adding it all the rotator cuff rotations, internal and external and now its almost 100%, and bench is better than before.

you may be overtraining your front delts. ive had this problem years ago. whenevr i did ANY chest movement, my front delts would tire and end up being so painful and worn out i would have to finish my set/workout way before my chest was done. i was using ridiculous volume on shoulders at the time, as i was 16 and thought this would make them grow. i redesigned my routine, and all the problems went. either way, it doesnt hurt to do rotator exercises also

incline barbell press 45deg works the ant delt as much as the chest and is very easy to over train. rotator excercies will def help.
