    Squat & Deadlift Question

So for you guys who train each body part once a week... what is your method of doing deads and squats in the same week? how do you split that up? i have been rethinking my workout strategy lately and am curious as to how you do this... i train each major part only once a week, but i got to thinking about how i do deadlift and squats in the same week and was just wondering on how you all split that up... nOva

    Every six days

I'll squat on Monday and then wait until Thursday to do deads. I'm not on such a strict schedule but I try to give my body a few days in between heavy movements like squats and deads. On shoulder day, I do clean and press as well as push presses which bring my lower back into play so I'm not always getting the full two day reprieve but I seem to gain best by doing working each muscle group once a week and disregarding the ancillary work a group might get in another day. It's important to see what works best for you and your personal goals.

Good question, its hard for me to do train with both exercises because I end up being too sore/not fully recoverd, for one or the other.
