    help with deltoids

just wondering what some ways are to widen the shoulders and really concentrate on the outer deltoid. any help is appreciated. also, any help on exercises that will help out with the delt/trap seperation? you know, where they meet up, what exercises cause you to be able to see where the trap ends and the deltoid begins. thanks.

the trap delt separation is largely genetic...and the outer delt you are describing can be hit with lateral raises...

I alway read that upright rows help the delt/trap seperation. My outer delts are not as good as my front delts so I do cable lateral raises.

i find that working a few heavy sets of dumbell press (like 3 in the 4-6 rep range) followed by 3 all out very high rep lateral raises do the trick pretty good. for some reason they respond very well to this type of training. it is a holistic approach i started using after reading some of fred hatfields works. these high rep sets will be in the 30-40 rep range!! burns the hell out of your delts. MAK SURE THEY HAVE RECOVERED B4 DOING THIS AGAIN THOUGH very important not to overtrain them
