    awful feeling during workout

    i was lifting and all of a sudden i felt awful, i was very upset because i watned to continue lifting but i couldnt do it. i was wondering if we should pick up the workout later that night if we can or wait until the next day

    were you doing legs? i always feel like i could barf during leg workouts...

    nah i was doing chest and it ook this energy gum before that contains caffeine and just made me feel awful

    rofl....energy gum?...never heard of that...might look at all the ingrediants etc...or maybe you just started feeling depressed...it happens to the best of us

    i know i'd wait till the next day if i'm having an off day

    plus i'd stay away from the energy guy bro

    squats and deadlifts make me nautious and exhausted...your chest is a rather large muscle, perhaps the lactic acid built up from that...there are a ton of factors that can make ya feel sh!tty

    Does awful meen you felt like puking or you just didn't feel like you had the energy to continue?

    Wait until the next day, as there isn't much sense in pushing yourself if you feel awful. It could have been the gum or perhaps a touch of the flu. Rest up and hit the gym as soon as you feel well.

    Squats and deadlifts ruin me too like gangster i never feel exhuasted doing chest or anything else though.

    How many exercises and sets had you done before you 'started to feel ill'?

    Depending on how many you did...I don't think the next day would be an option.
