    Workout/Cardio

On days you guys do cardio, when do you take your post workout drink? Do you take it after you workout, then do cardio? or do you workout, do cardio, and then take your post workout drink?

    Thanks

i normally don't do cardio and weight training on the same days. for straight mass gains it can hinder gains a little. i only take a PWO drink after weight training so on cardio days i don't have one.

doing cardio and lifting together can actually be detrimental to ones goals

if you have to do them together lift first then do cardio for 15min or so since your glycogen should be depleted and ur burning pure fat for 15min then consume the proper PWO Shake.

I do my cardio in the morning on an empty stomach and hit the weights late afternoon. I have a PWO shake after cardio and weights. Like Tai suggested if you do them together, do your weights first and afterwards 15 minutes of cardio should be sufficient, but have your PWO shake immediately after. Also, as Novastepp said he doesn’t normally do cardio and weight training on the same day, so you could just do your cardio separate, but I feel a PWO shake is still crucial after doing cardio.

I train.. do my cardio.. then have my pwo nutrition.

The constituents of my pwo meal depends on what training mode i'm in.. and what i'm 'using'.

If i'm using nothing.. i don't consume a pwo drink. Instead i have a low GI carb and whey (oats and whey for example) after cardio.

If i'm on slin i have whey + dex after cardio.

    thats a rather uneducated answer.
you can do both on same day.. best rout to do it would be to perform cardio on Empty upon waking. then perform resistance training later on in evening.
