Thread: my workout. plz critque.

    my workout. plz critque.

    All sets are done with heavy weight, 6-9 reps each set. Also I do a proper warm up and stretching.

    MONDAY---Chest/Triceps
    flat bench-4 sets
    incline bench-3 sets
    DB butterflys-3 set
    close grip bench-4
    DB pullover-3 sets

    Wendnesday----Legs/Shoulders
    Squats-5 sets
    lunges-2 sets
    curls-2 sets
    cal;f raises-4 sets
    military press-4 sets
    upright row-3 sets
    side lats-2 sets

    Friday---Back/Biceps
    Deadlift-4 sets
    bent over row-3 sets
    1 arm DB row-2 sets
    behind back military-2 sets
    bar curls-4 sets, (last 1 21's)
    incline DB curls-2 sets
    hammer curls-2 sets

    Your choices in exercises are ok. However, your split is not. How can you workout your shoulders and legs in the same workout?

    Here is what I would do:

    -Keep the same exerciese (they could be better, but are good).

    -Work Chest, Shoulders and Triceps on Monday. Back, Traps and Biceps on Wednesday and Lower body on Friday...IMO, that is the best 3 day split if your goals are bodybuilding. BTW, that is known as a Push/Pull workout.

    Cool, thanks guys!

    Also, I saw that Traps were in there. I thought that was pretty much Back? What exercises can I put in for that one?
