just wondering if anyone has any exercises that focus solely on widening the upper body as far as lats, chest, and shoulders. i'm plenty thick, but i'm sure there's some exercises out there to work on width specifically. thanks.

bent over BB rows = width for me.
pullups and dumbell laterals
i think you will see a good increase in widht if you train your back with any exercise be it BB rows, tbar rows, seated rows, ect. as long as you are training it on teh same plane as your chest. so the opposite of the bench press is what i'm trying to say. this has been the case for me personally... i'm also looking forward to what works for the other guys too.
chins
Close grip pulldowns Superseted w/Any type of rows ...AC
best of all, WIDE grip pull ups...hey nova, I do bb rows as well, but I like to do an under hand grip(palms facing up...which do you find works for you?
Wide grip chins and wide grip pulldowns. Really stretching it at full extention as well. Helps me feel it a lot more in the outer part of my lats.
Vertical pulling movements (pullups, chinups, lat pulldowns) for the lats.
widest grip pullups you can do, that will give you good width, same with cable rows, i find those are always great
cool, thanks for the tips fellas. anyone got anything for the outer chest?
i'd suggest staying away from any cable exercises
pull ups instead of pull downs
bb row instead of cable row
flies work my outer chest pretty well
