    Knee problems from Squats

Don't know if this belongs in this forum or not, but I have noticed for the past few months that when I squat down on my knees to pick something up or whatever, I have trouble standing back up. I just don't have the strength in my knees to get me up. Sometimes I have to grab something to help get me started up. I am 41.

I do squats and leg presses for my quads. I go to parralel on my squats and for leg press I go down as far as I can. I use knee wraps for my working sets to help with the pressure that is on my knees when doing these exercises.

Could I be doing something wrong when I work my legs to cause problems like that with my knees? I know that I used to lock out on squats and leg presses and as of recently, I no longer lockout after different threads that I have read.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Having to grab something to stand up sounds extreme there my man.

I'd be looking to go see my doctor or sports therapist if that was the case w/myself.

I've no idea what the issue could be, but I would suggest being examined.

I may just go see a doc. I would't think that I am that old that I should be having this problem yet. As long as I don't go below parralel, I am fine, but when I go past that, that is when the problem starts.

What else is weird is that I have been on hgh for about 3-4 months now and you would think that would be last problem I would have with my knees.

i know swole may disagree, but when i brought my squats down to ass to grass, my knees went from 75% to 90-95% (wrapped before and after)
