May's Muscle & Fitness: Burn Fat - Gain Muscle Program.....
I was wondering if anybody else read this article and plan to lose weight and gain muscle. It seems very interesting and I may try it once I get back home from school and I can properly cook my meals.
Basically it consists of a 10 week program alternating one week with a get lean program following a get big program in terms of lifting. Its pretty confusing the eating portion of it and I havent fully understood it yet. But if anyone else has read it and has any input on this please reply.

U didnt mention diet. Building muscle and losing fat seems impossible to me. But if you were really intent on trying it would be more diet than anything..

Yeah diet is part of it. Something to the effect of the cuting sticky on MON - WED and then FRI and sun the same. Thurs and Sun are different this is while ur on the week 1 of lean lifting diet plan. Its confusing, it would help if someone read it.

I will post up the entire workout when I get some free time. It seems very interesting, before you bash it at least hear it.

I've seen M&F articles very similar to this one before, so I know the bashing is more than valid.
1 week of "cutting", then 1 week of "bulking" and alternating like that never gives one approach a decent timeframe in which
to be productive. It's a spin-off of the old "ABCDE" routine where one takes two weeks to cut, then two to bulk, etc.
That proved to be shitty and people were doggin' the hell out of that idea in the late 90's.

I suppose if you were really overweight and had next to nothing in muscle (like a giant blob) and started a workout/diet program for the first time you could probably lose fat and build muscle at the same time
