do you mean like practicing posing?

Or just to get bigger lats: if bigger lats are what you seek try wide grip chin ups and lat pull downs.

    Don't know much about posing.

As with any bodypart it genitics bro on how much spread you can get out of your back . If you have only been training a couple of years just keep it up focus on a solid rouitine for back width .Example could be but not limited to this

    Back day
Start by warming up your lats get them nice a pumped up with blood you can use close grip pulldowns or pullovers or pulldowns ect .After your lats are pumped up start your heavy work sets .
I would do something like this and if your already doing this then just keep it up it takes time .But always try to get a good pump when warming up then go heavy .

    Pulldowns
    One arm seated machine rows
    BB Rows
    and finish off with deads.

    Good luck ..AC

Actually acording to Dante (of DC fame) you can pop your scapula loose and allow it to rotate out giving the appearance of larger lat spread. He tried to explain it but said in the end he has to show people. You can look up the thread on intensemuscle.com in the dogg pound.
