the best for hitting the outside and peak are close grip zedbar curls and hammers angled slightly(like you were going to drink a pint kind of motion,these are both excellent exercises.oh and bear in mind bicep development can come down to genetic factors.

Check out this bicep site - I think it will be a BIG help.
One word of advice...don't be in a hurry to try everything you read about.
Take it slow and try one or two exercises so that you can monitor results - if you do a lot of different things there is no way to tell what is working and what is not.
