    helping recovery time drastically

I red an article a few month ago about a jucier from the los angelos area who would sit in those warm water tubs for liek 2 hours and sleep. the only thing is he said it was like giving your muscles 8 hours of sleep for every 2 hours you spent in there. I forgot the name of the tub but want to look into it i know its the same type of things hippies used and is considered a hollistic remedy anybody have any experience with this.

I saw T.O. has one of those on MTV cribs. Seems like everybody who has one loves it, but they are wayyyy expensive.

Well, it makes sense that it would aid in recovery, but to say it's like giving your muscles 8 hours of sleep is over exaggerated. For one, your body does not get into a deep REM sleep until about 4 hours after you fall asleep. Sleep is what makes muscles grow and also aids in the fat burning process. Yes, 2 hours of sleep in a warm tub is good for recovery, but I think that's definitely over exaggerated. If it were myself I'd rather spend the money getting deep tissue massages.
