Hello guys....I've a problem..People always at my gym(specialty old guys 50+) come to me and with no reason start a conversation with me. They start telling me how people don't no sh1t and they wasting thier time by humping the wieght..uhhh.Then,They tell me (ur getting good). they start advicing me how I should be training, the speed of the rep, full range of motion, diet...blaaa blaa blaaa...and I'm just saying ohh yah ,cool, I know, wut a good advice.....etc. they start confusing me. Everyone with diffrent opinon. Some telling me (NO PAIN NO GIAN) other say that bullsh1t(TRAIN WITH NO STRAIN) he means don't lift very heavy ....MAN WTF?????
Every time I go home depressed,and I think I was wasting my time and I should follow his advice...
Clear those confution pls:
1)(NO PAIN NO GAIN) PAIN means the sorness after a hard workout, or during training.....
2) I always lift with control, full range,and 4-5 sec a rep I guess, but some telling me(4sec up 4sec contraction, and 7 sec down) too long I guess
3) Some time I spend 3 hr in the gym most of it talkin to those guys. the problem I' can't be mean and say ( I know what I'm doing, leave me alone) or leave him while his talking. It's not nice. tell me something nice I can do so
i can stop that conversation.
Sorry for the long story and the bad spelling, But I'm really tired of this. I alaways have doubt, not focusing in the gym, shity workout, get cool dwon after 10 min talkin uhhhhh.
