    Too much or too little?

I dislocated both my shoulders about 3 months ago and they havent been the same, I have using dumbells over my head at about 25 pds. does this seem too lite of weight to use even though my shoulders are still in pain. I guess my question is if I can lift more should I or give it more time?

I slipped on Ice a few months ago and landed on both my elbows first causing my shoulders to pop out of socket, really hurt like hell!

    Ouch, shit!!!

I dislocated my left shoulder twice in 2 months, and it took a while to get back to normal. I'd say don't push it, as if you develop a "track" where they slip out of socket, you're screwed!

If they hurt w/25 lb. d-bells, I'd say you're not quite ready yet!
Give it time, and maybe stick to light side-lateral raises in the meantime.
