    PM Cardio.....When?

I really wanna start doing another set of cardio per day in the PM. My question is when would be the best time to do it? Obviously I can't do it on an empty stomach like I do in the morning, but how long should I wait after a meal or weight workout to do another set of cardio? Defnitely not good to do it before a weight workout correct?

    Thanks

After my very last meal? Should I make sure I do it a certain amount of time before sleep?

Not after your last meal of the day, no, he meant 2-3 hours after "A" meal.

My example would be to eat a fat/protein meal about 3 p.m., then do the cardio session at like 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. Take your fat burner or whatever you use before to help you get into the fat burning mode quicker.

Swole, what do you think of doing your final cardio session of the day after your last 'major' meal before bed?

I know a casein shake/cottage cheese/or your egg white combo could be taken immediately prior to going to bed and this could still be classed as a main meal but minus carbs, but what do you think about increasing your metabolism quite late as big Gunther does?

I know many people may struggle if they do cardio too late as they maybe too hyped up to sleep, but for those who can get off to sleep, do you think its a useful option for a second cardio session?

I wouldn't do it that close to bed, no.

It's hard to sleep and your metabolism slows down quickly anyhow once you are asleep so you aren't going to benefit much from that. I'd rather do it prior to my last two meals, and have my metabolism work for me in that manner while I am still awake.

Yes this is what I usually do myself just wondering if this had any merits. I do my cardio a couple of hours after my previous carb meal which is bout 6-7 pm then wait 45mins to an hour after I finish to eat fibrous carbs

How long do you wait after your carb meal to do cardio? I usually have my pro/carb meal about 12:30, then pro/fat at 3:00, then cardio around 6:00.

I never do cardio after having just eaten a carb meal as the most recent thing I've eaten.

I usually only eat low GI food unless PWO so I try and wait as long as possible (4-5hours) and when I get hungry I will also use PRO/Fats as my last meal before doing cardio
