i lift 3x a week regardless of cycle or phase of training.
i do functional strength training usually 4x a week though
It comes down to progress. If you can cut out some rest days - then you'll obviously get more opportunities for growth with in the training cycle. It is something you have to learn about your requirements through trial and error. AAS will certainly enhance your progress - via increased protein turnover, cortisol blocking, better mental drive and other less documented/known effects...
Agree 100% with warrior...it will be trial and error and see what works for you.Tai has a good base to start with (my opinion)3 days then you can try 4 day split and so on.

I do 5 days a week for a month and a half and then take a week off.
