Calves 50 rep +
Do u think its better to work calves doing more that 50 heavy reps per set, my calves are hard to built cause I have long legs?

Unless you are genetically blesses with calves they can be difficult to get growing. Over the years I've found that the best way to make my calves grow and others that I’ve trained is to constantly shock them. If you think about it, your calves have been working every day since you could walk. They must be shocked with heavy weights and the reps will vary, but generally I keep them high. You just have to experiment and see what works best for you.

Personally I dont see how you would be able to do 50 reps at a heavy weight. It depends on whats heavy to each individual I guess.
I am 6 feet 4 so I know your problems and would recommend as listed above to alternate high reps/low reps with as much weight as you can handle in strict form. Also do not bounce up and down otherwise the achilles tendon will be doing most of the work and use a full ROM.Last edited by Bigun; 06-08-2006 at 02:00 AM.
