Size/definition Bodybuilding v. Powerlifters
I've seen some of these pro-powerlifters move huge amounts of weight, but the dont seem to have the size like pro-bodybuilders do. True powerlifters are not as cut-up as bodybuilders but what is different about their workouts/diets that makes them develop differently??

Training for power and explosiveness, not hypertrophy and size.

Well in my point of view, a Bber is looking for hypertrophy and shape so the diet include less cals and training is different too.
Correct me if i'm wrong Swole, but i think that doing more reps at a reasonable weight (which would allow you to do 8-12 reps) gets you a better shaped muscle and mobilizing different fibers
Therefore, you muscle works in a totally differnt way.
That said, i always switch between those two wazys, allowing my muscles to grow in shape and getting me stronger as well.....forcing me to lift heavier weights for less reps allows me to get enough strength and learning to bust my ass.......
I hope i was clear enough

I highly prefer bodybuilding over powerlifting because the way I see it, is lifting to increase 1 exercise like bench and not having to worry about diet, cardio, etc etc is just pointless
Except marcus of course he is a sick combo of both
