I have read a few articles in some training mags I used to buy on a regular basis to do with mixing high intensity and low intensity cardio training to burn fat alone. Example would be running 1 min slow then running for 2 mins flat out, then 2 mins slow then 3 mins flat out and so on till you reach 20 mins. The theory is that the body uses stored fat for energy durring this type of training. I know general concensus is 60-70% of max heart rate for 45-60 mins.
Just wondered if anyone has ever tried it or heard of it?
