Due to my schedule I'm going to have to change my workout routine from a 4 day to a 3 day split and I want your input. I'm 5'9 195lbs and I've been training for 5 years.
My current split is:
Mon: Chest/Triceps
Tue: Back/Biceps
Wed: Rest
Thu: Legs
Fri: Shoulders
Sat&Sun: Rest
This is the New split that I came up with(please give your input)
Mon: Back/Biceps
Deadlifts-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Pullups- 3 sets (I'm really not that stronge on the pullups so I do as many as I can--Trying to get better at them)
Barbell Rows-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
DB Rows-2 sets
Shrugs-3 sets
Barbell Curls- sets 10,8,6 reps
DB Hammer Curls-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Hammer Curls-2 sets 10 reps
Wed: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
Bench Press-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Incline DB Press-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Chest Dips-2 sets 10 reps
Military Press-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Side Lat Raises (seated)-2 sets 10 reps
Rear Lat Raises-2 sets 10 reps
Skull Crushers-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Close Grip Bench Presses-3 sets 10,8,6 reps
Fri: Legs/Calves
Squats-3 sets 12-15 reps
Leg Press-3 sets 12-15 reps
Leg Ext-2 sets 12-15 reps
Leg Curl-3 sets 12-15 reps
Stiff Leg Deadlifts-2 sets 12-15 reps
Standing Calf Raises-3 sets 12-15 reps
Seated Calf Raises-2 sets 12-15 reps
Now I got this routine on a forum but I don't know if it was this forum. My question is would you guys change anything or is this a good or bad routine please give input Thanks
