I do 3 sets bar curls
1 set 21's (bar curls)
then 2-3 sets of incline DB curls
My arms get a good pump.
And I know, it doesnt take much to hit the bi's, but just wondering what ev1 thinks about it.
Thanks.

Depends on if you are doing them with back or on their own day. If with back it looks ok but you really need to post reps for each set as well. I wouldn't get too carried away with the 21's. Also you may want to rotate the incline DB curls; seems to put a ton of undue stress on the tendons.Originally Posted by kyjelly
yeah, I do them with back days...
right now, Im doing high reps..
i.e. 1st set=12 reps
2nd=14
3rd=16
then 21's
then on the 2-3 DB sets, I do between 12-15 reps
And the weight is set to failure...
personally i dont think thats enough to increase muscle mass
For me I do 5-6 sets total every 6-7 days for biceps and triceps, and my arms are one of my better bodyparts.
They get taxed doing back (bi's) and chest (tri's) so doing set after set after set only serves to over-train me and make them actually smaller/weaker.
