    Is this a good idea?

i am currently doing back/bi/traps together.
I workout every 6th day and was wondering if it would be a good idea to switch between hammers and barbell curls every other workout.

For example if on monday i did barbell curls for 5-6 sets, i would do hammers on sunday for 5-6 sets. Or should i do 3 sets of each every workout?

so you are only doing one exercise for your bis? sorry, for me, and i am probably tired and easily confused, i couldnt quite get what you meant lol. id say do 3 sets of each instead of doing just one exercise for 5-6 sets buddy

Ok, i will right out my back/bi/trap day and split.

    Day 1 Legs
    day 2 Chest/tri/delts
    day 3 off
    day 4 back/bi/trap
    day 5 off
day 6 rest another day depending on how i feel or repeat.

    back/bi/trap day.

    3-4 sets pulldowns
3-4 sets Bent over rows or T-bar rows
    4-5 sets Deads

5-6 sets bi work (don't know wheter to stick with one or split this up into 2 exercises) I was thinking concentrating on Barbell's on one workout and then Hammers on the next

    5 sets DB Shrugs x 20

i would try this: one week, focus on barbell curls, the next week, hammers, then the next week, do 3 sets of each. keep things fresh. or, you could focus on each routine for afew weeks, then move on to other for afew weeks, and so on

I suggest just doing 3 sets of hardcore barbell curls, then finish with 3 final sets of hammers.

I myself do 3 sets of barbell curls, 3 sets of dumbell curls and then go into my forearm workout by doing 3 sets of hammers and then finishing with 3 sets of wrist rolls.

thanx 4 all the suggestions bro's, I think i may try ur idea timm.

Lavenco i do that exact workout when i do bi's and tri's together and it works well, but i don't think i would do that many sets after a back workout.

Why are you doing so much on one day?

it's really not that much! It looks like it would be when you see back/bi/traps but the set rep scheme is set up so that i can work this parts in one day( same for chest/delt/tri). I got the idea from some of SC's recommendations on here.
