I take off at least one week, maybe one week and go light another, then back to normal.
Really depends on how you feel, listen to your body and think about what you feel you need.

I have been working out 6 days a week. I did it before gear and was fine, and of course on gear I was ok but been off for about 3 months and it is cathcing up to me. The main reason why i cant do it now and was able to do it before is most likely due to me cutting. I think i am going to take a full week off. I definetly need a rest. I loosened up on the diet a little for the time being. I have been cutting for a while and dont want to start bulking till after the summer. Thanx for the replies.

6 days a week is overkill IMO definately. 3-4 is all you need if you do it right.

Yea i know, now. I really did use to get away with it. It really worked out for me for a while. One muscle a day for 45 minutes definelty no more then an hour. I use to do it because i enjoy working out and a feeling a accompishment once i get out of the gym so i can start my day. When i wouldnt work out i would feel unmotivated with my diet, and i feltlike i should be doing something. That is why I am going lift 4 days and run 2 days (on my off days) and sunday i wouldnt do anything. Thanx fellas. I am really going to do is combine chest and tris and back and bis

Recommended Recovery Program:
Five weeks of rest with low levels of exercise.
Correct nutrition.
Removing as much stress as possible.
Slow return to normal training levels.
Cross training to avoid temptation of too much too soon.
