    MMA, Boxing, or Thai?

I can take 2 classes a week, or split 1 of each, but only 2. And maybe a private lesson every other week or so.

Question is, what should I take? My biggest goal is to increase hand, foot speed, and able to kick some ass.

    Any inputs/advice would be great.

    Thanks.

I say MMA and boxing. Tai is just too much knee kicks and close combat.

For handspeed, I would go with boxing.

By foot speed, do you mean kicks? If so, then muy thai kickboxing.

MMA will make you the best all-round fighter.

Footspeed, I mainly mean quickness on my feet...not really kicking wise, even though it would be cool.

So that would probably be boxing...

Well, taking boxing and MMA, plus some private lessons, I should be pretty good soon enough huh?

After a month's worth of lessons, of boxing, you will be amazed how your footwork improves. For me that was always the most difficult aspect. Once you got it, you feel very light on your feet.

The leg kicks can really slow your opponent down. If you get a few solid ones in, they will be walking with a limp.

Just make sure you have a leg defense to those low leg kicks . Watch Bas Rutten's last fight for evidence of this.
