Try this exercise for awesome chest development!!!

My freind showed me these last week, they kick ass. It's an old school one nobody does, but believe me when I tell you they work great. Get a pair of dumbbells and use a decline bench. The first part of the movement is a db fly, after that you go right into a db press, then after that you go behind your head into a pullover with the db's, thats 1 rep. Try a couple sets of 8-10 and see how it feels. It's great, my chest has never looked so pumped before, it just hammers your lower pecs/ lat/pec tie in region like you wouldnt believe!!

and do u mean you do a full dumbbell flye, then a full dumbbell press, then into a pullover? or do you mean the flye turns into a press on the way up?

No, a full db fly, a full db press, then a full pullover holding both db's. You'd be surprised at how scorched your chest will get just using some 40's or 50's.

I could see them being beneficial in some applications but I wouldn't do them on a regular basis.

Have tried 'em in the past... along with a dumbbell exercise no one does anymore called 'round the world's.. which is CRAZY!

That exercise you described (which the guys at my gym never gave a moniker to) isn't bad

Interesting.. I've done those excises seperately 3-4 sets, but i've never put them together all in one set..but they've been working good so far. Might have to give it a try.

u hold the db on the inside (hold the plate) arms extended over your lower chest then slowly go back beneath your head almost to the floor keeping your arms straight(slight bend of course) and follow the motion back up to start...you prolly seen em or done em on flat bench

it wasnt bad, i couldnt quite get the hang of it though, as the bench i was using wasnt the best for declines. i also did them towards the end of my workout. and to top it off, my left pec fatigues way before my right, which with most exercises isnt a problem, as i just crank out afew more reps with the right at the end of the set, but with this exercvise, it was awkward. will likely give them a try nxt week again

i do something similar with the EZ-Bar for tris-
    10 Skullcrushers
    10 pullovers
    10 underhand close-grip presses

all 30 reps nonstop, i usually use like 115lbs for this

today is chest and tri day so I'll definitely try what u are talking about

I'm confused here my man. How do you know they will provide awesome chest development like your thread title suggests if you just started doing them last week?

for the pullovers im assuming u keep a DB in each hand, n keep them parralel straight in the air then do a normal pullover, almost like its a bench bar, keeping the DBs on the same plane?

It's like a dumbbell fly with an exaggerated range of motion.

You start with dumbbells held directly above your line of vision... palms facing down like the top position of a dumbbell press.

You then lower the straight back like if you were doing a pullover... Your arms will be behind your head at this point.. parallel to the floor.

Then from there you move your arms out to the side.. palms facing up.. like the max stretch position of the dummbell fly... Then you move your arms from there to your sides.. then upwards

End position: palms facing upwards.. dumbbells inline with lower pecs.. pinkies touching.

    Then you reverse to motion.
