front delts get tired....when doing chest

    my workout routine is
    mon-back
    tues- chest wed-legs and abs thur-should fri-bi's and tri's

the problem is when i do chest my front delts get very tired...they are pretty strong though.......it happens more when i do hammer machines for wide bench and decline...........they really get tired when doing pec decs......dont know why

i dont believe that i need to strengthen my shoulder i think it might have more to do with technique

for chest i tend to do(i alternate db's barbell and hammer machines weekly)
    incline
    flat
    decline
and pec decs or cable cross

i used to always get that. watch this video and it will help... also flex your upper back a little when u do chest and it will isolate your chest and tris mor from you delts.

it doesn't have to though - if you use perfect form then you will feel it a lot less in your shoulders, and also do a lot less weight.

id predict maybe slightly overtraining your front delts. ive had this several times in the past, so i cut back on front delts. does the trick every time. remember, its a tiny muscle group, so 3-4 sets on shoulder day is plenty, especially considering the pounding it takes on chest day. if you also do tricep dips on a seperate day to shoulders or chest, this will also work the front delts, so you can see how easy it can be to overtrain them

for myself,it is more important to go heavier on the chest, work the major muscles, and than just lightly finish up with lighter delt work, since they are all ready pre-fatigued.

what i meant by less weight is that if you use perfect form, nice and controlled with your shoulders back, then less weight than you normally do will actually feel heavier.

for example, if I go real slow and really concentrate on my pecs as i bench and use perfect form I can get a good workout from 135lbs! Do actually workout with only 135, no, but my point is that the full activation of your muscle and the range of motion is more important than just the amount of weight you're pushing. also, if you keep your shoulders back you will feel it less in your delts, thus enabling you to do more specific shoulder exercises without being tired/sore from bench.

P.S. Throw out the decline Bench, your better off using a dumbell fly there for some working sets...A decline is a flat bench that moves the secondary stress from shoulders to tri's...D-bell fly's have been some of my best chest mass builders, rotate those between Flat, Incline, and the Decline Fly's I approve of...
