    Calling ALL Treadmill Incline WALKERS.....

Hell if I will ever ever run (unless I am chased by a big ass bear!) and the elliptical is ok, but I like reading a good MM mag, and walking on the treadmill...I sometimes do 3.0speed at 12%grade, uping the speed a notch every 5 minutes, 3.1,3.2,3.3 etc

other days I do 7.0% grade and 3.7 speed.....up the grade the same way as above........?..........would YOU consider this mild? Mod? heavy? Do you have an alternate routine? Just curious....thanks!

Nah thats about what I do. While bulking right now..I usually do 3.7 speed at 5-5.5 incline and that keeps me around 130 which is 65% for me.

IMO a brisk walk on the incline treadmill is the best way to burn fat and retain lean muscle. I spend the first 5 min. on it warming up at a 8% incline at 3.0 mph, then I up it to a full 15% incline at 3.5 mph.

I try to hit 4 times a week 60 minutes, first 10 nice and easy warm up then 50 at whatever speed/elevation combo it takes to keep my HR at about 120-130. Am bulking right now, so this mostly just helps keep me from becoming a total pig.

I used to do 40-45, it did nothing for me for fat loss, I found 60 minutes to be my magic number. But if you look at my HR I am clearly not working it too hard, I just try to raise my HR up a little and maintain it for extended periods of time, not really huffing and puffing.

Yes I do light walk on incline treadmill as well.

It's perfect and it tones up your legs as well.

I go up to 3.6 at 15% incline for 25 minutes.
