    Tore Chest

    I tore my chest about 5 months ago and still not right. can some whos had the same ort of problem give me some advice and maybe a workout for chest to work my way round it?

    I've partially torn mine several times. All from flat barbell bench. Best advice I can give you...but something you aren't going to want to hear is take time off. Mine got worse and worse and got to the point where I couldnt do 135 with it. The only way mine got better was taking 3 weeks off. Strength will come back quickly after you start back up again..but I didnt do flat barbell bench for a long time after that.

    tore mine about 18 months back and gave it 4 weeks complete rest, then did nothing but cables and smith machine for the next 4 weeks, then it was fine.

    i avoided flyes, dips and free weight pressing for those few weeks.
