    Tell him to EAT.

I'm certain you will answer saying "he does eat"

So I typed this to answer that.

    Ask yourself this.....

    How does he eat?

    A. Like someone 145lbs
    B. Like someone 200lbs
    C. Like someone 200lbs with a very large tapeworm inside him or an illness that keeps him from growing aids, vaginitus etc.....

If answered A. Thats why he weighs what he weighs.
    If answered B. thats
If answered C. Tell him to see a docter to remove/fix that tapeworm/aids.

    Workout/Diet/Rest = Growth.

Being someone with the same body stature as him, Hellmask hit it right on, diet is the most important part of his training. To grow he will have to learn to eat, I'm 6'1 and was 140lbs the first time I ever stepped into the gym. I primarily focused on 4000+ calories a day along with 300-350 grams of protein.

To get a general idea of where I started, and where I was almost a year into the game - check this link:
