Rack pulls
anybody do these i occasionally train with one of my buddies and he had me diong some rack pulls, they were a bit weird. Anybody do these they are like a half deadlift. What do you guys think of them. once i got done with my last set of 405x4 my back instantly started tighening up so i guess it works, im 6'4 thats why its so light

when i trained doggcrapp style i did em. they seem to work the same just dont hit ur legs. but thats the point

It basically eliminates the bottom range of motion for a standard deadlift. If you can do them from a rack then they can be good, but I feel that the Smith machine just isn't low enough for these. Many people like them because they hit your back without hitting your glutes and making your ass get all big.

i used to do them.make sure u really squeeze your back at theend.One of the best exercises i think to really get ur back sore
