Combining Training Techniques?
Would it be beneficial to combine different training techniques in your workout program? For example: when working triceps lately I've made sure to include two compound power movements with heavier weight and lower reps, and two unilateral isolation movements with a more standard 8-12 rep range. Is this good, or would it be better to do several weeks strictly compound exercises followed by several weeks of strictly isolation movements?
