    First workout at regular gym and boy am A hurtin

    I worked my biceps pretty good and right now and can not straightin my arms out. Did I work my arms to hard, or is this just somthing to be exspected for being my first time?

    thats lactic acid, it takes awhile to build up a resistants to it, they should feel sore but, size comes over long periods of time u can't do too much in one day

    yea man thats totally normal the more they burn and feel sore the next day the better your workout was. Try not to work the same muscles day after day in the gym. Wait a day for the sorness to go away and hit the wieghts again. Split your routine and it will be all good

    4 days later.... My one biceps still locked up from preacher curls. I can straightin out my left arm now

    hehe, same stuff happend to me when I first started. Trust me, you wont feel like that again after about 2 weeks of training. Keep at it , it gets easier

    Bro it is totally normal. Whenever I would go out for a couple of weeks or a month while training in the Marines I would come back and hit the gym and my arms would lock up for days after my first bicep workouts.

    I killed myself the first time, i thaught i was celver.
    I was left paralysed for 5 days, EVERY BODY PART.

    Thing is I didnt feel like I had worked out hard when I did it, then the next day everything was lock and I felt like my arms where both charley horsed. Thats the best way I can explain it, Oh well.....

    welcome to the club Twisted. Just wait after a couple of years you'll be extatic when you try a new routine that give you that wonderful pain.
