    Hips

    My hips, guys, are very tight. I've always been the guy on the football team who could run straight or accelerate as well as anyone but couldnt change directions for a damn. How do you loosen up your hips? I would think stretches but what exactly? Maybe theirs a machine that would help?

    I'm gonna take a shot at describing this stretch...

    Take a knee, both knees will be bent at a 90 degree angle, one knee down, the other in front of you with your toe pointing forward. Now without moving your lower body (including hips), lean backwards. This will stretch your hip flexor (on the side with the knee down.)
