i go to the gym with my program-sheet and pen and right down everything i do.
Example: lets say im doing incline db press. I have 3sets of 6-10 reps to do.So I do the workout I write down 6 7 8 (reps).Next time around im able to see that I did 3 sets of 6-7-8 reps with 90lbs db's,but i have to reach 3 sets of 10 reps. This pushes me to lift harder and meet that goal to be able to go heavier.
I never feel lost, or have to try to remember how heavy i lifted last time. All i think about is going heavier and reaching my set/rep goal.
It worked for me.
what do you guys think?
