    2 X a week

    Does anyone work a mucsle group 2 x a week while on cycle. I have no doubt that I could go twice a week, just don't know if there'd be any benefit. Thanks.

    sure there is,just dont over do it,split the workout between each day that way you wont overtrain.

    I do everything twice a week before a show naturally. It is one of the most effective workouts that I do. I Pull/Push/Lower rest and repeat the cycle. When I work each muscle twice a week, I have different splits.

    I can do smaller muscle groups twice a week but my chest and back can be sore for 4 days sometimes so I never feel ready enough to go twice in a week for them.

    your chest and back feel sore for 4 days when you're cycling or off?

    i havent ever cycled. if i smoke my chest really hard i will still feel the soreness 4 days later, not as intense as the 2nd day, but it's there.

    does gear decrease the soreness and length it endures?

    well gear speeds up recovery

    yeah definitely. But training your chest even when you feel sore, is ok.The pain should go away after your third set or so.
