Okay, so I used to be one of those guys that would make every excuse to not do squats... I finally started doing them and am in love with them. I've been working out for 1 month and a week and I just wanted to get some input on my progress. I start out with 45's on each side and work my way up. When I started working out my fifth set was 225. Now a month and week later my fifth set is 275 3 times. Is that pretty good for a guy who took a year off from the gym? I'm 5'10, 163 lbs. I'm also doing "bodybuilder" squats or so I've heard them been called. Where you keep your feet closer together to emphasize more on your quads and hammies rather then your glutes and hips. Also I was watching Pumping Iron and noticed my legs act the same way as Franco Columbo's... I was just wondering if their was a name for the way his legs are.
